About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for Statutory Reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the preparation of actuarial statutory reports, offering expert actuarial guidance and support to business leaders, and implementing strategies to enhance capital efficiencies. This role demands a highly skilled and experienced actuary, ideally an FSA with over 10 years' experience, particularly in the area of statutory reporting. The individual must possess excellent project management skills and have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements. As the AVP for Statutory Reporting, the primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all actuarial statutory reports. The role also involves providing strategic input to the business, so the ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts in a clear and concise manner is essential. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously and be proactive in identifying and addressing any issues that may arise. A strong background in re/insurance is a plus, and the role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
