Role Summary:
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Clinical Director in providing support within the clinical team. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical supervision, performing clinical assessments, conducting training and curriculum research, developing treatment plans, reviewing client files, and training new clinical team members.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the clinical team in coordination with the Clinical Director and provide clinical supervision to team members.
Responsible for reviewing and cosigning clinical documentation of unlicensed and provisional Therapists, Addiction Counselors, and Group Facilitators.
Review client records and approve clinical documentation on the EMR platform.
Designing program curriculum and developing content for clinical training and education.
Assisting clinical team members with coordination of treatment, discharge planning, and crisis management.
Observe and assess client needs and behaviors through clinical supervision.
Manage clinical staff’s schedules and conduct performance reviews.
Respond to emergencies and initiate action as required.
Attend and participate in staff meetings and monthly trainings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with education of chemical and alcohol dependency and abuse.
Experience in a supervisory role within a clinical setting.
Possess knowledge of HIPAA.
Possess experience with crisis management.
The candidate will show skills and competency in working with clients, from undertaking clinical assessments, planning and delivery of care to review of effective methods of interventions, in order to shape continuing service provision which will meet the needs of individuals.
Preferred candidates should be able to work well within a team and independently, effective communication skills, time management, ability to problem solve, and strong professional boundaries.
The candidate will be sensitive to religious, ethnic, and cultural differences.
Knowledge of CBT, DBT, 12-step recovery, and other evidence-based theories is a plus.
Minimum Requirements:
Therapist License: LCPC, LCSW, LFMT, PhD, or PsyD
Valid Driver’s License
Current CPR and First Aid Certification or willing to obtain
Must successfully complete Background Check, Drug Screen, and TB Test
Physical Requirements:
Light lifting, light walking, able to walk up and down stairs, and extended periods of time sitting.
