Resource Insurance Associates is hiring a commercial lines account manager. We are seeking a highly motivated professional who will bring experience and enthusiasm to our team. There is great potential for growth, and joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

Resource Insurance Associates is a growing independent insurance agency with locations in Columbia, Lexington, and Sumter, SC. The account manager may choose to work from one of the three locations. This may be a hybrid/remote role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze new and renewal data for assigned accounts and identify cross-selling opportunities
• Schedule and perform renewal reviews for commercial clients
• Market applications to carriers following agency protocols, make informed coverage recommendations, and negotiate competitive terms
• Prepare and present insurance documents such as quotes, proposals, coverage comparisons, and summaries to support client understanding and informed decision making
• Manage policy servicing tasks including processing endorsements, providing certificates, filing claims, and responding to client inquiries in a timely manner.
• Properly maintain client files within agency management system
• Participate in agency trainings and meetings, maintain reliable attendance, and pursue professional development

Qualifications

• Ability to be self-motivated and work well alone or in a team environment
• SC Property & Casualty Insurance License REQUIRED
• Minimum three years commercial lines account management experience
• High School Diploma

Pay

• Salary commensurate with experience
• Commission paid on account rounding and solicited business
