Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on quality customer service
- Operate directional drilling equipment to install underground utilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to fulfill project requirements
- Apply understanding of percentages, avoid existing utilities
- Identify potential challenges; develop and implement solutions
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on drilling equipment and tools
- Operate other equipment as needed
- Provide support to other construction activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: - Minimum two years of directional drilling experience
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints
- General knowledge of construction practices
- Class A CDL license with acceptable driving record
Physical Requirements: - Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas
- Must be able to lift, push, and carry 50 - 70 pounds
- Must be able to work in various conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat and cold
Additional Requirements: - Must be able to work Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 5:00PM; additional work, including on-call, may be required
- Must be willing to travel as needed (Monday - Friday)
