Confidential Search – Operations Director (Medical Devices)

Greater Boston Area | Full-Time | $110,000–140,000 Base + Bonus / Equity Potential

A well-established, high-growth medical device company is conducting a confidential search for a hands-on Operations Director to lead critical supply chain, quality, and logistics initiatives.

This is a unique opportunity to join a nimble, innovation-driven team with international manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a central role in ensuring product availability, operational efficiency, and quality compliance across a global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day U.S. operations, ensuring timely delivery and coordination of finished goods.
• Lead supply chain and inventory planning efforts in collaboration with offshore manufacturing partners
• Serve as the primary liaison between the U.S. office and international teams, bridging logistics, timelines, and quality standards.
• Maintain and improve ISO 13485 quality systems , including document control, non-conformance investigations, and CAPA tracking.
• Work closely with leadership on cost analysis, operational KPIs, and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of operations or supply chain management experience, preferably in medical device or similar heavily regulated industry such as aerospace/defense
• Demonstrated understanding of regulated quality systems (ISO 13485, FDA, etc.)..
• Comfortable in a small-team environment ; willing to roll up sleeves and manage a broad operational scope.
• Strong organizational and communication skills;
