Wenger Mfg LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled Electrician I to join our team. This is an entry-level position for individuals with a foundational knowledge of electrical systems and a desire to build a career in the electrical trade. Under supervision, the Electrician I will assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control systems in accordance with local and national codes.
Assist with installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on electrical systems
Follow blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to complete tasks
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes
Work effectively with supervisors and other tradespeople on job sites
High school diploma or GED
Completion of an electrical trade program or equivalent work experience preferred
0–2 years of experience in electrical work
Basic knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code)
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
OSHA 10 or 30 certification
Previous experience in commercial or residential electrical work
