Job Summary
We are seeking a few professional Event Security Guards to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment. You will protect our premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal candidate has experience with public safety and security and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times. These events will be in Chicagoland, during the summer/fall mostly on a Sat./Sun. Salary $18-19 hr. You will need to purchase a security polo shirt ($30) . First event is the Chicago Food truck Fest. June 28-29th. 8:30am-7:30pm. These will be standing only post, no sitting down. (no cell phone use) INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD AT OUR MELROSE PARK OFFICE LOCATED AT 2210 W. NORTH AVE. SUITE 1 ON SATURDAY JUNE 21ST. FROM 9AM-1PM ONLY. HIRING ON THE SPOT FOR THE RIGHT APPLICANTS (15 GUARDS).

Responsibilities

• Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
• Remove trespassers when necessary
• Respond to reports of suspicious activity
• Report on daily activities and any security incidents

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Security Guard is required with a valid perc card
• High school diploma/GED
• Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
• Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills
• Ability to work without direct supervision
