LanceSoft is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Urgent Care for a local contract job in Bronx, New York.

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (Open for all the specialties)

Position Type: Fulltime/Part time (Permanent)

Job Location: 2720 White Plains Rd Bronx, NY 10467, USA

Pay Range: $120K to 130K (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment & Diagnosis:

• Conduct comprehensive physical exams and health assessments on patients.
• Take detailed medical histories and assess both physical and psychological health.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, imaging studies, and lab results.
• Diagnose common acute and chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, hypertension).
  
   

Treatment and Management:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment and diagnosis.
• Prescribe medications and manage prescriptions.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families.
• Administer immunizations, wound care, and other medical interventions as needed.
  
   

Health Promotion & Disease Prevention:

• Offer preventive care, including screenings (e.g., mammograms, colonoscopies, etc.), immunizations, and lifestyle counseling.
• Educate patients on topics like nutrition, exercise, smoking cessation, and stress management.
• Develop and implement health promotion programs for communities or patient populations.
  
   

Collaboration & Consultation:

• Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
• Provide referrals to specialists when necessary and follow up on treatment progress.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care teams to manage complex patient cases.
  
   

Patient Advocacy:

• Advocate for patients' needs and preferences in the healthcare system.
• Ensure patients understand their treatment options and rights.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow ethical practices in care delivery.
  
   

Requirements: 

Board certified
Active NY state license.
BLS ACLS
