About this position:

iWorks Corporation is seeking a MuleSoft Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy APIs and integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You will work closely with stakeholders, architects, and platform engineers to deliver secure, scalable solutions for our federal clients.

Salary Range: 80k - 140k (2 - 6 years) - Commensurate with candidate's skills, experience, location, and qualifications. 

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  2. Create and manage APIs and microservices for seamless system connectivity
  3. Write and maintain reusable, scalable, and secure MuleSoft flows and connectors
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, architects, DevOps) to define integration requirements
  5. Utilize Java to build custom components and support MuleSoft integrations
  6. Work within AWS environments to deploy, monitor, and optimize integration solutions
  7. Operate in terminal and command-line environments for development and deployment tasks
  8. Conduct unit testing and participate in integration and performance testing
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in integration processes and data flows
  10. Ensure security best practices are followed in all integration solutions
  11. Contribute to documentation for integration designs, configurations, and support procedures
  12. Stay current with MuleSoft updates, integration best practices, and relevant technologies

Required Education/Qualifications:

  • Clearance: Secret security clearance fully adjudicated
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Security+ Certification required
  • Proven experience as a Mule Software Developer
  • Experience with Java development
  • Familiarity with AWS services and cloud deployment best practices
  • Proficient in using Git for version control
  • Experience working in terminal environments (bash, zsh, cmd)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer (Level 1 or 2)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of application security best practices.
