Legal and Compliance Team Opportunity
Our Legal and Compliance teams are seeking a motivated individual to support healthcare regulatory compliance, contract management, risk mitigation, policy development, and legal research. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside attorneys and compliance professionals while ensuring adherence to healthcare laws and regulations.

Position Details
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40-50 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
Organize and maintain records for the Legal and Compliance departments.
Schedule and track important deadlines and meetings for the legal team.
Handle various administrative tasks as needed.
Legal Research & Document Preparation
Conduct research on healthcare regulations, litigation, and compliance.
Help prepare legal memoranda and other important documents.
Assist in creating and editing presentations and documents, ensuring accuracy in grammar, spelling, and formatting.
Litigation and Dispute Resolution
File documents with courts and administrative agencies (state and federal).
Support mediation, arbitration, and litigation efforts by preparing documents, exhibits, and ensuring compliance with court procedures.
Compliance and Regulatory Assistance
Support regulatory filings, including license renewals and mandatory reports.
Monitor compliance activities and provide guidance to physicians and staff on relevant laws and regulations.
Communication and Collaboration
Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, stakeholders, and third parties.
Assist with HR investigations and other legal matters as directed.
Provide administrative and organizational support to the Legal and Compliance teams.
Essential Requirements
Regular Attendance: Punctuality and consistency are essential.
Travel: Minimal travel may be required for court filings or document delivery.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable with e-discovery tools, online platforms, and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Google Suite, Excel, MS Office, GitHub, etc.).
Independent Work: Ability to work autonomously while meeting deadlines.
Physical: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, work on a computer for extended periods, and type at least 50 wpm.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in handling litigation, preferably with a background in large law firms.
Experience in both federal and state court settings.
Exceptional proofreading, typing, and attention to detail.
Prior experience working with litigation teams or law firms is required.
Familiarity with modern litigation technologies and web-based applications.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Comfort working independently with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in Google Suite, document review software, and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) is a plus.
Knowledge of healthcare organizations, physician, and APP licensing is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
