Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Highland Creek in finding a Part-Time Family Assistant for their 7 and 9-year-old boys. The nanny would typically be needed Monday-Thursday, 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm. (20 hours). Ideally, the Family Assistant would have the flexibility to stay later on occasion (the family would give at least 1 week of notice).
The best Family Assistant would be proactive, caring, and organized, with the ability to help keep their home running smoothly and support their two active boys. Key responsibilities include grocery pick-up and weekly meal prep (such as chopping fruits and veggies, and preparing simple meals for the children), assisting with children’s laundry and linens, and keeping the home tidy. It is important that the Family Assistant encourages the boys to clean up after themselves to teach them responsibility and independence. After school, the boys will get off the bus at 3:45 PM. The assistant will help with homework, provide a nutritious snack. Most evenings, the Family Assistant will be responsible for getting the boys to their various activities. The family values someone who is reliable, responsible, and can anticipate the ever-changing needs of a busy family.
Nanny Responsibilities Include:
Meeting the daily scheduling needs of the children
Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level
Helping with homework
Providing transportation to and from activities
Household Duties Include:
Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly
Children’s meal prep, including school lunch, daily snack, and dinner for the children
Wiping down counters and basic kitchen clean-up
Unloading/loading the dishwasher
Keeping common areas tidy and encouraging the children to pick up after themselves
Grocery pick up
Rotate clothing in the children’s closets
Pets: The family has a Goldendoodle. The Family Assistant may be asked to pick him up from doggy day care once or twice a week (he doesn’t shed).
Qualifications:
Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience
Have a college degree or equivalent experience
Have a professional resume

Pass a national background check, including a driving record check
Pass a drug screen
Have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
Have safe and reliable transportation
Have a minimum of three professional references
Be non-smoking/vaping

Nanny should be fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus
