Bizzell US is seeking a results-driven Power BI Developer to design, develop, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision-making across the FOH enterprise. The ideal candidate will bring experience building robust BI solutions in Microsoft Power BI, with an emphasis on transforming health and operational data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Dashboard & Report Development Design and develop Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and data visualizations aligned with FOH key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into wireframes and data visualizations. Data Modeling & Transformation Create and maintain semantic models and calculated measures using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX). Develop robust data transformation pipelines using Power Query (M). Ensure optimized data structures and minimize report refresh and query times. Data Governance & Quality Assurance Ensure accuracy and consistency of reported data through rigorous testing and validation. Implement row-level security and other data governance practices in Power BI. Integration & Maintenance Connect Power BI to various data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, and government-specific systems. Maintain and update existing dashboards in response to evolving business needs and data changes. Collaboration & Training Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to enhance data access and decision-making. Provide training and support to FOH users on Power BI usage and self-service reporting. Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience designing and delivering Power BI solutions in a professional environment. Proficiency with DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service (workspaces, apps, publishing). Strong data modeling skills and understanding of relational and dimensional databases. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (PL-300 or DA-100). Experience working with federal healthcare programs or agencies (e.g., HHS, NIH, CDC). Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, or SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Work Environment Hybrid work structure; some on-site presence in Rockville, MD may be required.
