Join Our Team as an Experienced RN in the NT4 Ortho-Urology Surgical Unit!

***$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Experienced RNs with Over 1 Year of Experience!***

Position Highlights

• Unit Size: 41 beds
• Patient Population: Our NT4 unit specializes in acute ortho and urology surgical care. We are DNV certified for hip and knee replacement surgeries, catering to limb trauma and low acuity medical patients. As a level trauma center, we admit most regional trauma patients here.
• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4-6
• Department Culture: Experience a fast-paced, collaborative environment! Our team works closely with physical and occupational therapists, ensuring a smooth recovery process for our patients, who typically stay for a maximum of three days. We pride ourselves on providing compassionate care and support.
• Resources Available: Enjoy the support of a full-time educator, part-time educator, two nurse supervisors, a manager, and charge nurses.
• Skills & Equipment: Familiarity with Wound Vacs, JP drains, Buck’s tractions, external fixators, lift equipment, and more!

• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (3-year commitment)
• Relocation Assistance: $5,000 for moves over 100 miles; $2,500 for moves between 50-100 miles
• BSN Bonus: $2,500 for external applicants with over 1 year of RN experience

Qualifications

• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days (AHA)
  • Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Education: High School Diploma/GED; Associate's Degree
• Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care abilities.

Your Responsibilities

As a vital member of our team, you will:

• Perform all nursing duties specific to the unit's scope of service.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care.
• Conduct initial assessments and develop tailored care plans.
• Implement and modify care plans based on continuous evaluation.
• Ensure patient and employee safety by addressing hazards.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and provide constructive feedback.
• Educate patients on wound care, mobility, self-care, and medication management.
• Coordinate care with physicians and manage various medical devices.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $33.68 - $57.93 per hour . Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, qualifications, and location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package to support our team members.
