STAFF PARK & RECREATION SPECIALIST – CENTRAL VALLEY DISTRICT / CULTURAL RESOURCES / INDIAN GRINDING ROCK STATE PARK
The reporting location for this position is Indian Grinding Rock State Park near Pine Grove, CA. This position will work under the direction of Senior Park and Recreation Specialist.
The Central Valley District is looking to hire an energetic team member as a Staff Park and Recreation Specialist at Indian Grinding Rock State Historic Park to supervise all park operations including the Chawse Regional Indian Museum, campground, day use areas, interpretation, facilities, cultural and natural resources.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.
The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.
This position is designated as not telework eligible.

Special Requirement/Condition of Employment: Depending on the assigned location, the incumbent may be required to occupy state-owned housing to meet operational needs, or may be offered state-owned housing if available. Office environment, daily and frequent use of personal computer and a variety of office software applications at a workstation. Sit in a normal seated position for extended periods of time.
