Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Telehandler/Forklift Operator. The role is on-site and located in Ft. Collins, CO. The Telehandler/Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating telehandler reach forklifts to move, relocate, and stack/organize materials. Daily tasks include material inventory, receiving, unloading materials, handling and packing materials, and ensuring efficient material movement within the worksite.

• Inspection and light maintenance of equipment.
• Stock framing crews/production areas with needed materials throughout the workday
• Lift and secure material loads for framing crews
• Rigging loads
• Document and maintain material counts upon delivery and as stocked at another location on site
• Organize and clean production area material staging
• Assist framing superintendent on site as needed, create quality control punchlists, perform light duty framing work etc.

Qualifications

• Experience in Receiving and Unloading materials
• Proficiency in Material Handling and Packing
• Skilled in Forklift Operation
• OSHA certified telehandler certificate preferred but will train
• OSHA certified 10 hr or more preferred but will train
• Rigging certification preferred but will train
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
• Prior experience in the wood framing/construction industry
• Computer skills a plus, Email, Construction software etc.-Company Tablet utilized for material tracking and documentation.
• Drivers License
• High school diploma or equivalent
