Job Description

American Traveler seeks a Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of recent experience and current ARRT (Mammo) and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient imaging department specializing in mammography, MRI, CT, ultrasound, x-ray, nuclear medicine, breast procedures, and arthrograms
• Day shifts are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No on-call requirements
• 16-week contract assignment
• Uses Cerner EMR and GE PACS for imaging documentation
• Must be willing to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve) during the assignment
• Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a two-year break from the facility
• Requests for time off must be made at the time of application
• Scrubs or dress code information is not specified
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Current ARRT certification in Mammography required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Experience with Cerner EMR and GE PACS preferred
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
