Duties/Responsibilities Write and submit security reports. Provide security. Maintain law and order in area of jurisdiction. Monitor staff by patrolling with them. Protect people and property. Look out for suspicious person, vandalism, or hazards. Conduct patrols. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities/Background Must have previous experience as a police officer, military police officer or extensive security officer background. Armed or ability to become armed. Excellent critical thinking skills. Must be able to observe situations and make appropriate responses. Must be able to work with speed. Excellent management and supervisory skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide training on security policies and procedures. Ability to work with confidential and classified information. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education And Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 8-10 years of related security experience required. Active Security License. Physical Requirements Extensive periods of standing and sitting. Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time. Ability to traverse various areas of the facility to conduct inspections.
