Job Description

*Position Overview*

Mid-level design position focused on sitework grading and drainage projects, supporting utility infrastructure development through advanced 3D modeling and technical design leadership.

*Key Responsibilities*
* Produce complex 3D models and design drawings for sitework grading and drainage systems
* Prepare detailed project layouts and conceptual designs
* Review and approve vendor drawings and specifications
* Generate material takeoffs and support cost estimation processes
* Travel to project sites and client locations (25% travel required)

*Required Qualifications*
* 5-7 years of related design experience
* Technical degree preferred (Engineering, Design, or related field)
* Proficiency in AutoCAD (required)
* Knowledge of environmental regulations (Ga-EPD, ADEM, MDEQ, Florida DEP)
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal teams and external vendors
* Must reside within 1 hour of The Energy Center

*Preferred Skills*
* 3D modeling software experience
* Utility or infrastructure project background
* Field construction knowledge
* Mentoring and training capabilities

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
