Are you ready to take your engineering career to new heights? BlueHalo, a leader in the AV industry, is on the lookout for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our innovative SpaceTech Division . Here, we design, develop, and manufacture cutting-edge space-based processing, controls, and electro-optical solutions for a rapidly growing industry.

Your Role in Our Success

As a vital member of our Systems Engineering Team, you will drive success and continuity across various programs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining Interface Control Specifications for our advanced systems.
  • Leading the creation of essential systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Management Plans and Test Plans .
  • Owning the requirements generation and analysis process, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Analyzing user requirements and high-level system architectures to develop comprehensive specifications.
  • Managing system requirements and spearheading design and development activities.
  • Creating detailed system architecture and design documentation.
  • Communicating effectively with program personnel, customers, and senior executives.
  • Supporting lab and field acceptance testing to ensure quality and performance.
  • Ensuring the technical integrity of all deliverables within your area of responsibility.
  • Mentoring fellow Systems Engineers to enhance team knowledge and expertise.
  • Driving the creation and maintenance of division-wide processes.
  • Integrating various engineering disciplines to support design and development.
  • Documenting design solutions and their compliance with requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, aerospace, electrical, mechanical, or optical systems.
  • 4+ years of device engineering experience across multiple disciplines, including optical, electrical, software, and controls.
  • Proficiency with design and development tools (e.g., CAMEO, Reliance, Python, MATLAB, ANSYS).
  • Strong grasp of systems engineering principles and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, including AS9100D.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 6+ years of diverse device engineering experience.
  • Proven engineering management and team leadership skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing Systems Engineering policies and practices.
  • Current/Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $120,000 to $170,000

  • This range serves as a guideline and is influenced by various factors such as position level, job responsibilities, geographic location, and relevant experience.
